We have daily departures from San José, the Caribbean Coast and the Arenal Volcano, giving you the choice to start and finish at the place of your convenience. Half way between these locations is our Exploration Center, a private base for our river trips and our Tortuguero Expeditions.
EXTREME WHITE WATER
This trip allows you to take the best two river descents in the country: Río Pacuare and the Pascua Section of the Río Reventazon.
Since this is a two day trip; it is not necessary to drive back to San José, Caribbean or Arenal area. In terms of driving time, money and relaxation, this tour is an unsurpassable opportunity. We will spend the night at Turrialtico Hotel or similar. The hotels from this area are well known for their great views, pleasant atmosphere, personalize attention, and for being very inviting.
The main attraction of this package is the river running distance and the number of high adrenaline rapids to be run; a total of 55 Km (33 miles) and approximately 90 rapids. These numbers are extraordinary, only a few destinations in the World can offer such a combination.
The first day is a regular Pacuare I day trip. At the Take Out point at our Exploration Center in Siquirres we do not go back to the San José, Caribbean or Arenal Area, saving us 2 hours driving per day. The hotel is 35 minutes away. The second day we will be only 25 minutes from the Put In at Pascua Section.
This package includes: all land transportation from San José, Caribbean or the Arenal areas with the option to change destinations, 5 complete meals, 1 hotel night, 2 river descents, all gear and the service of professional guides.
