We have daily departures from San José, the Caribbean Coast and the Arenal Volcano, giving you the choice to start and finish at the place of your convenience. Half way between these locations is our Exploration Center, a private base for our river trips and our Tortuguero Expeditions.
RIO REVENTAZON
This is one of Costa Rica's top rivers. It has the hardest commercial runs in the country, as well as the biggest white water. With over 65kms (40 miles) of rapids, it has two different sections to choose from: Pascua and Florida. All of them are one day trips easily done from San José or the Caribbean Coast, or better yet to be combined with another trip. They are described from bottom to top, as difficulty increases.
The Reventazón is your best choice for late dry season months (March and April). It maintains very good water levels, as other rivers start getting really low.
